Lean it against the wall. Done. Seriously, it's that easy. This little method all comes down to what you're displaying and where you're placing it. I find that taller pieces paired with low-slung furniture is the ideal situation. Otherwise, tall art hung on the wall creates a visual plane way higher than the top of your furniture, throwing the balance of the room off. Also, this can create a layering effect. Notice how much visual depth the diptych is given with the rust colored Barcelona chair placed right on front of it?

It is high gloss water base4de eurethane but the client has them professionally cleaned and polished once a week.
Mark Dodge Design
The floor were original to the brownstonstone and the color was not easy to obtain, two different stain were used and feathered in. A costly and time comsuming venture make sure you find a floor person experienced with this process. i went thru several days of experimentaion before we acheived the result that were satisfactory. Good Luck
