Heimsath Architects We actually had these made as the joint pattern is not exactly standard. However, it was not as bad as you might think. There are a lot of companies out there who have water or plasma CNC cutting machines and getting them to cut out a few plates is not that expensive. We often use a sheet metal company (Crippen Sheet Metal for those of you around Austin)--they do a lot of duct work and such, but can also do these special projects for us.

I like the rafters, the fireplace, the sofa and chairs the book are, and the colors of this room. I dislike the cover on the chair at the table. I feel like this was influenced by craftsman style because it has exposed rafters, the neutral and natural colors, and the fireplace.
