McMahons Point

This small inner city courtyard went through a dramatic make over. What was once a tired looking parking area with some treated pine seating has now been transformed into a usable entertaining area with eye-catching detail wherever you look.

The area is tiled with a clever mix of travertine and dark granite giving the flooring it’s unique style. A custom made curved Spotted Gum bench seat sits in front of a bamboo hedge which hides two external mirrors. The mirrors give the garden another dimension when viewed from inside.

The BBQ area which is surrounded by a solid Spotted Gum timber bench sits opposite the water feature and storage area. The two camellias planted in the tiled area help to distinguish the parking area.

It really is amazing to see so much detail packed into such a small area. Our onsite foreman for this project, Mat Ferguson, new from the start that every detail had to be crafted to perfection for this garden to work.
