The large living room was divided into several areas: game table, reading area, center table and main sitting/TV area. All white/neutral upholstery is tempered with the use of textures and wood. A custom game table has cup holder pull-outs to keep the card playing surface free of clutter. The bookshelves boast a collection of found items, family photos and books.

Chandelier - Hello, this room is so beautiful! Could you please share the manufacturer of the chandelier? Thank you so much. »
amosmom I bought a chandelier that is very similar to this one and I love it. I got it from LampsPlus.com. It's made Quoizel Dury Century Silver Pendant Chandelier Style # R9719 and is $540. The color is what I call "Gilver", gold and silver mixed. Plus, it has black wiped on it too. It's very interesting the the finish makes it blend with many other metals. Good luck!
MHS Interior Carpet Design It looks as though the rug sizes were determined by the width of the wall sections and the length of the room. I like leaving the middle walkway clear and basically making 3 spaces out of one.
For rooms that large anywhere from 9"-18" and even more seem appropriate, with the rug being cut out around the hearth leaving a much smaller margin, like 2". Most natural fiber rugs are around 13' wide and the coordinating binding looks to be 1.5-2". Visit Merida meridian's website for more styles. Great job Margaret!
Margaret Donaldson Interiors Yes, this particular table was found while we were out and about shopping. Keep an eye open and you may be able to find something similar.
Margaret Donaldson Interiors These were existing when our client purchased the home. Visual Comfort or Currey and Company have great sconces if you are looking for this style.
Margaret Donaldson Interiors White is such a subjective color. I'd say it is white with the edge taken off a bit. It is not a glowing white. Try Benjamin Moore OC-60.
Margaret Donaldson Interiors This table was made by our local furniture maker. We can certainly have it made to suit your dimensions. This table is 58" in diameter and is 34" high. In order to give you a more accurate estimate, please email amy@margaretdonaldsoninteriors.com. We will need to know dimensions and the location to which it would be shipped.
Margaret Donaldson The floors were existing when our client purchased the home. They have a nice medium brown hue with variable tones coming across with the grain of the wood. On a Minwax chart, I'd say that they are maybe between dark walnut and provincial.
Margaret Donaldson Yes, our rule of thumb is to have outlets pulled strategically under the rug. When then have an electrician or rug guy pull the cord through the rug for minimum distraction from the design.
malibupeg You can also simply string the cord under the couch to a wall outlet, or string it along the outer rim of the area rug. There are many ways to camaflouge it on the other side.
