A touch more color...here I shook things up a bit! I went out of the norm for Utah staying within a still neutral but more colorful palette & increasing my contrasts. I stunned the builder when I specified stone & sconces for the columns...he let me have total control on this one.

I love cultured stone from owens corning best...but from what I remember when I designed this show home the builder may have had me select the stone from eldorado stone which was giving him a better price. It is not nearly as rich in color as I like.

It is by Mohawk & it is ab Engineered Hardwood Flooring: Zanzibar: African Ebony Natural. It is possible not a line they are producing because I cannot find it in their collections. I loved it though! I would use it myself if I built another home. I Googled it though & you can find flooring stores who are selling it.

Wall color; chandeliers (both the one inside the door and the one above the table); bronze sconces; square elements above couch in living room; the stone element (outside brought in); the dark, warm stair and trim color contrasting with the soft yellow walls; the open dining area right inside the door and connecting with the living room area just beyond; the ceiling trim above the dining room table, especially since it's square (I love squares... they make me feel calm...) The couch and chair is not my taste, but I can see how they work with the design...
