Some of the styles of things may not be to your liking, but I'll zoom in on the element of each photo I'm trying to emphasize. This one, I happen to love the fabric on the chairs - but it's not everyone's taste. This is an example of a 2 chair seating area that we could do off the living room where that dead space is. I would do 2 rugs (that relate but don't match exactly) or one large rug.
