The view from one of the home's two bedrooms highlights the setting's appeal. The chair is a Salvation Army find, dressed up with Rose's handmade cushions and a cashmere throw. She also made the linen window dressing.

Have a pond/wetland to filter the water collected from house use-
species of wetland plants that filter water=
.cattail, bulrush, reed and sedge species.
Phragmites australis(common reed)- removes nitrogen.(is invasive)
Duck weed- removes nitrogen and phosphorous. Typha-removes heavy metals and can be woven into mats and baskets. Iris&water hyainth- removes heavey metals (wh invasive).
The intensely textural curtains are so suited to this environment. Like burlap, it goes with the weathered wood decking. Makes me want to go back to my old floating camp boat.
