Kenny Craft, CNU LEED AP Generally I recommend keeping lite/pane proportions the same or very similar throughout the elevation... So, I would therefore tend to recommend some skinny sidelights matching the size of an individual pane "increment" from the door lites.. Then depending on how low you see them going to the floor, select the quantity of horizontal divisions to correspond to the proportion of the door lites... Another variation keeping the same idea, would be to double the width of the sidelights, again keeping the same lite "increment"... That's the way I'd approach it... - Kenny
Sometimes all you need for a door is a statement-making color. This cerulean blue is like a breath of fresh, energetic air against the orange hues of this home’s exterior.
3. Spark the front door with a bold color. It's a prime opportunity to create a visual focal point and amp up the personality of your home's facade without spending a lot of cash. Choose a color that both sets off and contrasts with your main exterior hue — this turquoise looks lovely against the muted pumpkin orange frame and gold siding.
