poorgirl This patio stone looks like a honed slate random size layed in concrete, looks also like they sealed it with a semi gloss sealant or a matt finish.

Paradise Restored Landscaping & Exterior Design This is Iron Mt Slate. It is mostly black in color with some vain's of rusty color and orange. We did not finish it we just washed it.

This is concept we like. Simple coverd area with stone floor paterned, stone retaining wall with built in bench and flower bed/boxes, on one side instead of fire place a built out area for grill add a ceiling fan with light, add screens that can be lowered to keep bugs out for dinning outside.
