I like how the rock beds are built up and have a flat top. Good way to frame the base of trees.

In it's past life the driveway was old cracked asphalt, the raised beds were just mounds of soil with tree stumps in them and the planting was mainly tired looking evergreens. In general it was not a friendly approach to the home. I opened up the planting and created a hardscape that works with the design of the home. It is bright, welcoming and easy to maintain. Exactly what my client wanted.
