Furniture with soul. The lodge has soul, so make sure your furniture does as well. Weathered pieces work well in creating the vibe. Adding a tailored, upholstered piece will bring another level of sophistication to the room.
The stone is a local moss rock called Willow Creek; its ranch feel adds to the rustic aesthetic. Hand-forged steel straps around the ceiling beams add another Western material to the mix.
Another rock fireplace with a wood storage bin "beside" the fireplace. IDEA!!! Why not have a raised fireplace with a sitting ledge and the seat raises and that is where you store firewood and accessories. Have the seat made of a slab of timber...just a thought. Save space since a side storage might take up to much wall room.
