Is the stringer in this staircase steel? If so how was it manufactured? - We have been tasked with building a spiral staircase that that has an expanding radius as the you go up. We are having difficulty figuring out if a single piece of steel can be used or if we will have to weld numerous pieces together.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. »

Diameter of the stairs - Beautiful staircase, I am looking to have one made for my house, do you know what the diameter is? The space I have may not work. »
Another great example of what I want. Only difference might be to separate the distance between the entry and exit points and deepen the distance between the landing and the back wall as necessary to traverse between both levels comfortably (each step being more shallow than standard stairs in most homes).
