Paragon Kitchens The flooring is Cumaru, which is also referred to as Brazilian Teak.

jarrodflores I'm considering using Cumaru in the house i'm remodeling, but i'm still on the fence on whether to continue the hardwood floors into the kitchen. What should I be aware of when adding hardwood in the kitchen and what's the maintenance like?

The cabinets turned out to be a much crisper white than I thought, very similar in color to this kitchen. When I first saw them all I could think is how white they are... but the color is actually really growing on me. I can't believe I'm saying this but I really like the whiter white a bit better. Anyways, I need to change our subway backsplash to a white rather than the off white I had picked out. Should I do a colored grout to break up all of the white? I'm thinking of whisper gray. My counters are not installed yet but they will be giallo ornamental and have a bit of gray in them. The other option would be to do white. Thank you! Jill »
