Hardback books already look great stacked on a shelf, but the miniature Eiffel Towers really add a nice physical element in this photo by Houzz member Sandy. And while this certainly works for the bookshelf or library, mini replicas of iconic architecture would also look great on a desk or in an office.

Wintertime is a great time to start planning for a spring vacation. Pick a destination, book your flights now for the best fares and then spend your winter evenings plotting the itinerary and researching all the sites you plan to see.

I love to collect iconic structures when I travel. This picture shows how having the Eiffel tower at different scales could work on a book shelf. Note the tower-like design on the spine of one of the books.

I love to pick up little models of the Eiffel tower whenever I'm in Paris (don't go thinking I'm all fancy, this happens maybe once a decade). They're cheap, they make fun gifts and look great on a desktop, mixed in with books on a shelf, or on a nightstand.
