Designed by Hans Coray for the Swiss regional exhibition (or "Landi") of 1939, the Landi Chair was everything an outdoor chair should be: strong, lightweight, stackable and comfortable. It was made entirely out of aluminum, with a perforated sheet aluminum body and tubular aluminum frame, all anodized for corrosion-resistance. The Vitra Miniature Landi Chair is made just the same way (although, at 1/6th the size, the perforations are much smaller).
