Retractable insect screens at seaside cottage, BC

Located on the west coast of British Columbia, Canada, this summer cottage is a quiet sanctuary from the hustle of city life. The owners of this luxurious yet eclectic seaside cottage have created a getaway that allows them to relax and enjoy outdoor living to the fullest.

Though mosquitoes are a minor issue in this region, wasps and flies can be a nuisance and disruptive to the peace and sanctuary being sought. Evening lights from inside the cabin attract flying insects to congregate, thereby making it difficult to keep the doors and windows open after the sun has set.

The home owners selected Professional retractable door screens to make the most of their oceanfront views, be protected from insects and enjoy a breeze off the ocean during evening hours. Three surface-mounted Professional door screens were selected for in-swing doors, two in wood-grain finish to match exterior trim and one in gray finish to co-ordinate with trim on the guest cabin.
