The homeowners requested more and better storage for their remodeled bathroom, and they got it! Two pull-out base pantries and three wall cabinets make all of their personal-care products accessible. The original shower was transformed into a linen closet, and a custom storage cabinet was added above the toilet, for backup tissue and miscellaneous storage.

Hi! How tall is the pull out shampoo drawer? - I want to make something like that for my bathroom, and i'd like to know how tall my counter is compared to it. Thanks very much,

Diane Plesset, CMKBD, NCIDQ, C.A.P.S. The pull-out base pantry is standard kitchen-cabinet height, i.e., 34-1/2" tall. This unit was custom made, and features adjustable top and middle shelves.

Diane Plesset, CMKBD, NCIDQ, C.A.P.S. Thank you, Sheila! We actually borrowed space from the adjacent toilet room, to allow room for the wall cabinets (which are 9" deep). I've attached the plan. You can see that the original room was just under 5'-11 7/8" wide, and we increased the lavatory area by 10 7/8", to 6'-10 3/4". The toilet area is 3' wide and the new linen closet (which was the original shower) is 3'-2 3/8". Hope this information helps you. If you want/need additional information, please contact me.
Diane Plesset, CMKBD, NCIDQ, C.A.P.S. These cabinets were custom, but pullout base pantries are available from many stock and custom-modular manufacturers.
