About 20 years ago I worked with the Andersons on the design of their residence- and about 3 years ago they wanted to add a pool and a small outdoor structure to enjoy the pool and sweeping views of the Black Warrior River. We also significantly renovated the exterior skin of the existing house adding cedar shakes to the roof and stone walls and garages. The small outdoor space became known as the cook-house or thunder house and is a jewel and almost year round inhabited room great for cooking and entertaining with a large fireplace and of course television for football games for these avid Auburn boosters.
