What type of light fixture would you call this one? - I realize this light fixture was an antique store find, but if I wanted to search for one like it, what name would I type in to search for this particular kind of chandelier? »
The Lawson Design Studio Well it is difficult to say. The " look " is close but what is always difficult is the scale. The PB fixture may look to small if your bath is large and it may look to big if you have a small bath. Also The glass drops will not have the same brilliance as the antique piece. I would recommend you order it and look at it in your bath. If it does not work send it back. Check the return policy you may be out the shipping costs. Hope this helps. Karen Lawson
The Lawson Design Studio Hello Sunshyne,
The sink in the photo is from Waterworks.
It is all so available in round and oval and several other finishes.
I used a small round sink in agged copper in the powder room.
If you view in other photos from the project you can see I used the
round sink in the guest bath as well as another beautiful light fixture.
Thanks for your question Karen Lawson The Lawson Design Studio
A small pretty glass chandelier looks right at home in a classic bathroom with the Old World charm of a marble countertop, subway tile and guilded mirror.
If you don't want your bathroom to look like it's brand-spanking new, think about mixing metal finishes. Don't be afraid to have polished nickel faucets and antique brass mirror or lighting, it gives a room character and a collected look.
For a more glamorous approach, go for a chandelier. Hanging one over each sink provides ample lighting for daily tasks and, being in such close proximity to the mirrors, reflects the elegant feel throughout the bathroom.
