This walk-in shower was converted to a full steam shower and soaking tub. Built-in speakers, skylights, concrete tub surround make this a true spa like experience.
Would you use the wall tiles on the floors? - If so how easy is it to clean and keep them fresh looking? Also which pattern of the tiles make the room looking larger Horizontal or vertical? Thanks »
Jason Ball Interiors, LLC Almost all tile is nearly impervious to staining - it's inherent in the process. The problem area is usually the grout. We use epoxy grouts in almost all of our bathroom projects - it's water proof, stain proof, etc. In terms of direction, that completely depends on the shape of the room and what you're trying to accomplish. If you have a skinny room, lay the tile perpendicular to the long wall. This will help the room look wider. Hope that helps.
lorigarvey I'm re-doing our Masterbath- would you limit the amount of different surfaces?? (ie granite counter, tile walls, deco etc...) Right now I have 5 different ones and someone suggested stick to 4 the most? thanks!!
