I call this chair 'Betty'. My friend Betty surprised me with the gift of a vintage wooden chair. I started with the idea of maybe covering the seat and painting the rest. Then, as you can see, I got carried away and covered the entire chair! Now Betty wears a permanent sweater.

She is a small cottage style side chair; 34h x 19w x 20d. She is made of solid oak, maybe European, maybe 1960's, all re-glued and restored and very solid. Various cotton yarns were used for 90% of the work, there is also some wool and acrylic as well. The design, knitting and crocheting are done by hand by me. You will see various known stitches and a large, dimensional crochet flower on the seat. On the lower back is my signature mark and Spirit Animal.

I have decided to try and make this more affordable for everyone. The original price of $695. has been lowered to $525. Make room in your home for this beautiful handcrafted item and I will then have more room in mine!
