Are you staining a reclaimed Hand Hewn Beam Veneer on this or is something else going on that I can't tell? - I'm planning on using a HHB Veneer, but they all have that dull grey appearance and I hadn't considered staining them... Any advice? This house looks remarkable! »
Lands End Development - Designers & Builders Hi Scott, this is what we would call a timber plank siding, designed to look like an old square log cabin. It is a new product, hand hewn, made to look old. We then applied a Sikkens Cetol product in dark oak color. Typically if we are working with reclaimed timber skins like it sounds like you be, we would not stain them and if anything we would only clear coat them to bring out some of the greys and brown colors. Those skins can look nice with a chinking as well, we are doing that on a project right now. I hope this helps, as always, thanks for looking!!
Layout - yes entry to pantry on left, main entrance in middle and three car on right - wrap around main driveway NOT to disturb existing maple tree ******* if can but more of stone exterior
