This is a recycled 1950's wall clock. The design is greatly inspired (as were we) by the designer George Nelson. However, we went in our own direction, and so, it is now half us and only 'half-Nelson'. We've had this for about 20 years and now we've made the pointy clock friendly and furry through the generous application of crochet. The numeral pointers and the clock body are worked in organic cotton yarn throughout. We custom made hands for the clock in a sort of Nelson style which also makes them 'half-Nelson'.
The clock itself is vintage, original, and is one-of-a-kind. It measures 30"h x 30"w x 3"d. It is made of painted and chrome plated steel. The pointers are made of painted wood that clip onto the clock body. It has a new quartz movement powered by one AA battery (included). There is a hanging ring on the back at the 12 o'clock position.
