Lands End Development - Designers & Builders As a homebuilder we are not involved with the furnishing of the homes and so unfortunately I am not able to answer your question. It is neat though!!
Lands End Development - Designers & Builders Thanks for looking and Happy New Year. That is a solid stain sanded down to give it a distressed look. It isn't a stock color, it was a custom color mixed through our local paint supplier Hirshfield's. The directions we gave them was to match a stain as closely as possible to the red in our company logo! Good luck and thanks again.
Okay I just have to say... What an amazing idea! This is so orginal. What better way to stay in a log cabin and enjoy the outdoors but still remain in an enclosed area. This is neat!
Try harder to make it look authentic when putting a worn finish on the floor. Think of and imitate wear patterns - traffic lanes, marks from dragging furniture, gouges, maybe some staining, etc. And don't leave freshly exposed wood looking fresh and new so obviously the wear all happened at once.
