Horizontal stucco transition between concrete foundation and wood framing - I'm interested in replicating this look where the stucco comes to the underside of the 1st floor window sills. In the southeast we'll have concrete foundation walls with wood framing above. I assume some kind of stucco expansion joint would be needed between these dissimilar materials? »
Charlie Simmons - Charlie & Co. Design, Ltd. In this climate, we don't an expansion joint at teh transition. We use a stucco weep screed. Best of luck on your project.
