Johnson Squared Architecture + Planning Nicely selected boards on the wall. Does the rift/quartered cut subdue the typical oak grain? It almost has a v.g. fir feel without the orange commonly found with fir.

How does one find a venetian plaster installer? - Sorry if this is a silly question, but I've done a little research and can't really find one... and I'm in Chicago. Did you just ask a painter or did you find someone who specializes in this? Would love to do a fireplace in something similar. Gorgeous work... just stunning. Thanks for any pointers.
