Highline Partners, Ltd Dan Joseph Architects did the design work so they would be your best bet for design. This cabin is great but the plans would need to be altered as this was a custom design for Owner. The cost of this cabin ranged around 500-600 per sq foot.

Highline Partners, Ltd We built the pond as well, so there is a wall behind reclaimed wood that is very well waterproofed...In your case if you are building a deck over an exisiting pond the answer is yes and it is here too...the ice might ruin the wood but the concrete behind is plenty secure... Keep in mind that you have a depth in the pond that you can go with piers to avoid freezing so the only issue is to make sure surface of actual pier has room to accept ice and freeze/thaw conditions..hopet his helps. In the first winter we had to replace the barnwood skirt as the ice tore it off but this was due to fluctuating water levels as much as the ice....as long as the ice can go up it will move up the secured pier.
