Sorry for the delay in answering your question. We've been way too busy this last month--We've never been so happy to see the holidays arrive and allow us to take some time off!!
For some reason the most-often asked question on this kitchen is the cabinet color.
These cabinets were custom designed by our firm and then built by a high-quality cabinet company in Pennsylvania called Christiana Cabinetry (610-593-5870). Christiana provided the cabinets already finished, so these colors reflect their proprietary formulas for cabinet colors. (The "hand" feel on furniture grade cabinets is amazing.) The wood specie is furniture maple, the paint color is a warm white, and the glaze is brown, with minimal hang-up.

Design Moe Kitchen & Bath / Heather Moe designer This kitchen included a large central space (about 25 x 25) with 6 entrances: the "main" kitchen entrance from the central hallway, the opening through the butler's pantry to the dining room (shown in this photo), an opening to the nook, a large opening to the family room, an opening to the back hall (to the garage), and a door to the pantry. For this reason we concentrated the kitchen activity on the two large central islands, with the main focal point wall (with the cooktop and hood) located directly across from the family room.
