Oakley Home Builders Thanks for your question. The flooring is Walnut in varying sizes. It's not hand scraped. Hand scraped is a beautiful product and is useful if you have large pets. Generally wood flooring does scratch and does need some TLC. Good luck on your project.

Eutree Wide Plank Flooring I would like to add that there is no way to refinish a hand scraped floor without removing the handscraping. We offer the finish but I always let clients know it is a one time finish then they are back to a regular flat surface. Black Walnut is an incredible floor and looks incredible even without handscraping.

Oakley Home Builders This color is actually a linen color on the perimeter cabinets. You could always paint a cabinet door as a sample prior to making that decision. However, we do a lot of dark islands with white cabinets. I have attached an example as well.

Oakley Home Builders Hi Penny, Thanks for your question. As with any stone product, you will need to be careful to a degree. We just suggest you clean it immediately after any "spaghetti splashes!"

jmibold I have had stack stone, loved it! Yes, OHB is right, clean immediately after spaghetti splashes. Grease can splash as well which will leave more permanent darkened spots. I used Grease Relief applied on a rag and it would come off.

amberrongey I would guess the width, from what can be seen in this pic, to be at least 12'. 2' deep counter on the top of the pic 3' walkway, 2' for the island, another 3' walkway, and another 2' for the counter on the bottom of the pic. 3' walkway would be pretty narrow though. the house my husband and I are building will have 4' on each side of the center island. This kitchen is amazing! :)

Oakley Home Builders The hardware pulls are called Bistro Pulls. They are from Restoration Hardware in Oil Rubbed Bronze. The knobs are also in Oil Rubbed Bronze and they are called the Felicity Knob.

Oakley Home Builders As with any stone product, the stone will become stained if soil is left on it. The stone is actually sealed so it's not as difficult to clean as you would imagine.
