Bohemian Bunkroom
This room is a converted attic space. The platform holds two full size mattresses. Behind the bed is a ledge. The fronts of the ledge are hinged to use as storage and also to access the plugs on the wall.

Amy Hopkins Designs The mattresses are resting on a platform built like a floor with joists placed every two feet. The ledge that wraps around the bed has hinged doors on the fronts of the ledges (behind the pillows). The doors are there so that we could access the power on the walls and for extra storage. The ledge is about 8" deep but you could make it as wide as you want to fit your space. I hope that's enough information. Thank you for your interest.
