Kerrie L. Kelly Looks like it may be a wide plank maple floor in a charcoal finish. We recently used that material in a project and it took on a nice soft gray tone versus the typical brown.
1. Sort. Grab a lot of big boxes or lawn and leaf trash bags. The first step is to RUTHLESSLY sort through your things, room by room, cabinet by cabinet, closet by closet, and think very carefully about why you want to keep each item you've put in the "keep" pile. Is it still really "you"? Does it hold some sentimental value? Do you use it? If not, do you think you really ever will again? Another thought--there are lots of pics that have mounted TV's that are NOT recessed, but they do have a table below them. This is a slick look--it gives the feeling that the TV is recessed because the table sticks out. THis would be a lot cheaper--and your turntable could go in the floating table below.
