This transitional kitchen designed by Normandy Designer Stephanie Bryant has some of the clean lines of contemporary styles, and is blended with accents of traditional styles, such as mouldings and corbels. The chunky countertop on the island offsets some of the finer details and helps land this kitchen in the transitional style. Backsplash Recommendations - One of the counter options I am considering for white shaker cabinets is the Caesarstone Pebble shown in this photo.
The gray and white combination lends itself nicely to soft blues, however, I would prefer not to have the blues in my kitchen. (Love it for my master bedroom, but I like more of the grays and tans for the kitchen/living room area.)
I would love to receive some recommendations for other options from the readers.
Thank you so much! »
Cabinet color - Such a lovely kitchen. I am considering Caesarstone Pebble and would like to know the white color used on the cabinets, please. Thank you kindly! »
Normandy Remodeling This cabinet maker calls this color "Snow White", although I'm sure you can find a beautiful white in whichever cabinet line you should select. Good luck on your project!
interesting combination of caesarstone on the counter and natural stone for the backsplash. Prefer a natural stone countertop but open to something like this as well.

Is the herringbone carrara marble pattern made with the same subway tiles as the back splash or is it a just another variation of the subway tiles? We are looking to do something similar and wasn't sure if it the tiles were two different paterns or just the same tile using an actual herringbone carrara marble pattern.

Normandy Remodeling It is a slightly smaller subway tile (2" x 4" for the inset) that are set in a herringbone pattern. All other subway tiles are 3" x 6".

lbclori To blackchamois: If you're looking for more tan color in kitch/dining, look at ceasarstone "shitake" color. it looks fab with white cabs!
