4stans Those dimensions were decided on site so I don't have a record of the details, but if I had to guess I would say the beams are 28" apart (on center) and the slats are 6" apart.

Abbott Moon They are outdoor fixtures, and so are designed to resist moisture. I have no idea how, but for more info on these and other outdoor fixtures you can go directly to the source:

Abbott Moon The contractor was able to custom match the existing paint colors of the house, so I'm sorry but we don't have the actual paint names or numbers.

Abbott Moon I think they were from Restoration Hardware a few years ago -- not sure if they still carry this line but they have similar outdoor pillows.

Abbott Moon There's one post attached to the corner of the house, but the rest of the posts are freestanding. We poured support footings under the brick to bolt the posts from the bottom.

Abbott Moon They are hardwired into the pergola structure and operate on a switch in the house.

Abbott Moon No fabric shade. The beams were positioned for optimal sun coverage.
