What make/model are washer/dryer? - I need to replace my w/d in undercounter space but all are now tiny or
very deep. How deep are these and how tall? »
gaviotagal Take a look at LG washer/dryers. I fought it for years. My units were 25 years old. I have spent so much to keep them in repair and to wait for new units to be made by some intelligent manufacturers. Two of my friends love their Miele machines. I bought a new LG in January and love it. It is small, fits anywhere, but does a very good job of washing. I still have the old dryer (they are behind lovely cabinetry so size differences don't matter and my dryer is very high capacity.) I totally understand your struggles. I am at peace with my LG smaller machine.
r1cardooo I have the Kenmore EcoCare system ones which are the same. I heard that this machines have a lot of problems with the spider and bearings but I love my machines they are around 6-7 years old without any issue. They still POWERFUL, EFFICIENT and SILENT.
Cabinetry Color? - This is a fabulous laundry room. Do you happen to know the paint color on the cabinets or was it a custom from the company? Thanks! »
To make the task of moving wet laundry into the dryer easier, make sure that the washer and dryer are installed so the door swing on each is opposite, and that the door of the dryer doesn't get in the way as you toss clothes from one to the other. When you purchase appliances, ask the salesperson if the doors can be switched easily at home if the swing isn't right on the one you buy.

counter space over units, bright lighting, doors opening in opposite directions for easier loading, dry rack above, stool, practical electrical outlets on counter-top for steamer, iron, vacuum, etc.
