Arredondo's favorite place in the house is the living room, with the sliding doors open to the backyard. On top of the TV-stand bench, a DIY project, is a Crosley record player. Arredondo says, "I play the soundtrack to the movie Charade on repeat." The living room coffee table is an example of one of Arredondo's many creatively repurposed pieces in the home. "The coffee table was originally a shipping crate for a very nice piece of furniture. My client kept the furniture, and I kept the box. I painted it and added some casters," he explains. Tree trunk stumps are also repurposed as wooden side tables.
