Eclectic Powder Room

The original powder room had a boring builder grade vanity and dated pink marble everywhere. I removed the marble floor and installed wood to match the rest of the house. An antique dresser was refurbished and repurposed to become a vanity. The matching mirror was modernized with a purple lacquer finish. The metallic and natural fiber wallpaper added some shimmer and funk to the space. Capiz shell pendant lights and a beautiful pebbled silky Roman shade completed the look.

Alison Besikof Custom Designs We removed the actual drawers on the top and permanently locked in the fronts. Our plumbing for this room was through the floor so it had to go all the way down and we retrofitted the drawers to be a U shape to accomodate the pipes.
