shawnie_56 My daughter bought some exercise and beach balls of various diameters , some sisal twine , white Weldbond Liquid Glue . As she dragged the twine through the pan of glue , she applied it around and around the ball , overlapping as desired. . She left the ball inflated until the sisal string and glue was dry . She left 2 round openings for the lightbulb fixture and a hand reaching in , then found an electrician to assemble . She left hers the beige colour of the sisal ..but the orbs could be spray painted any colour inside a big box to prevent paint drifting onto other items. The more she did , the easier it got. And she saved herself $2000.
