This charming home began as a 1930s summer cottage in Menlo Park, California. We treated the house like a jewel box, adding back the architectural detail of the era that had been stripped away. The owner, a successful single professional woman and Silicon Valley executive, wanted a colorful, feminine home that was warm and inviting without being too fussy or frilly.

What is the source for the chair? - It's a lovely size and so well proportioned. »
Jana Happel Interior Design Hi There! This chair is from Mitchell Gold+Bob Williams, but was the client's own and was purchased some time ago. I think it may be discontinued, but they have a similar body called "Tobi" you might like. Good luck!
Jana Happel Interior Design Hi Jami, This is actually a grass cloth wallcovering purchased through Sonia's Place in Manhattan. I don't think it's available any longer, but you might try the brand Philip Jeffries, available to the trade. They have beautiful grass cloth wall coverings in a fantastic array of colors. Good luck!
