linda boyd My personal experience from mixing different stain colors is that it is important to mix all that you will need for entire job (or at least each coat) all at once because it is difficult to achieve same shade even if you use same combinations in subsequent batches. Jmho.

PG Wood Looks to me like a walnut stain on oak. Graining is oak. Color could be called light walnut or medium brown :-)

Paul Anater That is a dark stain on oak. Take a look through the online catalog from Mohawk for some good ideas.
