This remodeled bathroom now serves as powder room for the kitchen/family room and a guest bath adjacent to the media room with its pull-down Murphy bed. The new cabinet features a sink made of recycled aluminum and a glass countertop. Reflected in the mirror is the shower with its skylight and enclosure made of 3-form recycle resin panels with embedded reeds.

Is glass sealed to wood lavatory? - I would be concerned about water getting underneath the glass. I assume there is an detectable bead of caulk preventing this? »
Tracy Stone AIA Although you can't tell from this angle, the glass top is actually separated from the cabinet below by a small spacer. The sink is sealed to the glass.
zzzzzzz It's beautiful but too shallow for me. There's just something about the sink featured here that is very appealing, the combination of shape and finish, I think. Of course, I'd probably find that it's very different in person - the perspectives used on some of the professional photos on Houzz can be misleading.
Tracy Stone AIA I am not sure! I would refer you to the 3-form representative we work with, Harriet Morgan: Harriet.Morgan@3-form.com. She may have some information for you.
Tracy Stone AIA Hi Marilyn, glad to see that others were able to find that info for you - turns out it was purchased by my client and we did not have the name.....

Ronique Gibson Most glass countertops are strong enough to handle the day to day lifestyle of most families, but this doesn't mean they are unbreakable.
One of the cons would be the risk of breaking, or chipping due to dropping items on it, and possibly scratching with a lot of abuse from kids, heavy toiletries, wrong cleansers, etc... Another con maybe keeping it clean, since it is reflective it will show water spots quickly.
The obvious pro is how gorgeous it is, and how it can modernize your bathroom and help it look fabulous!
Recycled aluminum sinks. Need further incentive to toss that soda or beer can into the recycling bin? The end product of your recycling can be a sleek, modern recycled aluminum sink like this one. Postconsumer and industrial scraps often comprise nearly all the aluminum used in these sinks.
