Symmetry Architects good point, from mint design. the column height is 7'-0", and the top of the arch is at 10'-0". It's difficult to tell from this angle, but the arch is actually an elliptical arch and not a full radius.

Mint Design With your 11 feet you could have 2 arches that are taller and narrower however I would recommend a taller and wider arch with thicker columns. What do you have available in height? If you live where bougainvilleas grows, consider planting on each side and training them to meet in the center, if not, consider climbing roses that bloom throughout the summer or wisteria.... :)
