Hello Scott,
Is the vanity top a honed black granite?
I just supplied honed tiles to some architects here in Houston. I think they'd like it for the tops as well.
Thanks »
Scott Haig, CKD Hi there, thanks for asking: the stone used here is a honed Italian Black Slate with an applied enhancer to keep it looking deep and dark.
Where could I buy the vanity? If that information is not available...what color is the wood? I have the tile but need appropriate vanity and this looks great. »
Scott Haig, CKD Hi there: the wood used for this vanity is actually a Lyptus veneer with a light stain--the cabinetry (both the vanity and the adjacent tall cabinet with horizontal veneer) is from Crystal Cabinetry. The client saw a sample in our showroom and fell in love with it--it sure pulls out the copper tones in the metallic tile and warms up the whole space.
Scott Haig, CKD Thanks for asking: the tall mirror is just mirror glass affixed to an unfinished cabinet door face. The recessed medicine cabinets above the vanity are custom and recessed into the wall to make a flush appearance.
Scott Haig, CKD Hi, thank you for asking: we got the tile from Walker Zanger; (we've just moved our offices and I'm sorry I don't have the specs handy!) I seem to recall it is about 12" x 22" and even though it may not look like it, the exact same tile is on the walls, too.
