Paul Anater You're welcome! Selecting a stone for your home can be tricky and it's important not to get too attached to photos you see beforehand. Granite, even the same type, varies wildly form slab to slab. As a granite in a quarry gets harvested, the character of the colors can change pretty profoundly the further into the seam the stonecutters go. In a lot of cases, the color and pattern of a stone is a function of where in the seam the slab came from and that's why granite slabs are numbered sequentially. Sister slabs stay together through the whole production process so that there can be consistent installations.
