Debra Campbell Design If the entry is wide enough, you could do a Dutch door with two small side windows or transom windows. However, if you live in a mosquito area, Dutch doors aren't great. In this area, mosquitos and flies are rare, so very few homes have screens on windows or doors. That may be importanto to consider based on your bug situation.

This style of door clearly works beautifully in rustic, traditional, Spanish and/or Moroccan-inspired homes, all of which take on a fairly formal feel. But it works just as well in a more casual home setting. This door features a solid bottom with glass on the top portion, making it approachable and less austere. Of course, the bright red paint helps — what a fun touch!
This arched Dutch door with 9 panes is one of the most charming I've seen, and its glossy red paint job is like a fresh coat of lipstick for this home's face.
This red door is so quaint it almost hurts. With an arched top, paned glass and a Dutch cut, it is a perfect choice for its location: picturesque Carmel Valley in California.
In feng shui, a red front door means "welcome." In early colonial America too, a red door signified a safe haven for passing travelers.A red front door can give character to a house — I love how the summer wreath has been used here to reflect the season.
