Slater Associates Landscape Architects There is a natural spring head that is located at the lower right hand corner of the photograph - hence the use of Astilbe and Ferns etc. that love wet feet. Maintaining the stone lined creek bed requires a fair amount of maintenance (hand weeding). ...John Slater

hiccup4 Love the lattice. Did you use a series of 4x8 aligned vertically? (8' high)? Can you paint PT wood immediately? and cedar? thanks!

I see that there's grass or something green growing in the bed - looks very natural. Does that mean this bed was not lined or cemented?
