I love your sense of style - your home is beautiful!
I've been searching for bookshelves like the one you pictured but I can't find anything like it. Do you have any suggestions for finding something similar? What search terms should I use? Any favorite sites? (I'm in LA, btw.)
Thanks - can't wait to see more of your home as you decorate it,

Aesthetic Outburst Thanks! The shelves are actually an industrial cart from an old shoe factory. I would try searching 'industrial shelves' or 'industrial shelf' on ebay or etsy. Best of luck! :)
How would you describe your style?
"I guess I would call my style ‘organized eclectic’, if that makes any sense. I can’t live with a lot of clutter, but I’m also a big collector, so I try to be careful about what’s out in the open."
I had to throw this shot in because of those toys on the floor; remember those? I just realized my love of A-Frames started with that little house with the green roof.
Don't over-organize. While home organization is important, it may not be essential in every room. Parents know it is almost impossible in a child's room, anyway. When it comes to items such as books, it's much easier to create organized piles instead of having each book perfectly placed the same way.
OMG that's my childhood Fisher Price farm, family house and alpine ski lodge! wow that brings back memories from decades ago. also love a vertical stack of books. It keeps things from sliding sideways off the shelves for kids. This works great for thin paperbacks and magazines.
