dsimmer I, too, am highly concerned if this is a photo of a baby or toddler being thrown into the air. Please read about brain damage this causes...and spread the word to everyone!

Anne DeCocco This is what I've read: figure out the square footage of the room (WXL). If it's 75 or under, the fan width is 29-36"
76-144, the fan is 36-42"
145-225, the fan is 44-48"
225-400, the fan is 48-54"
larger than 400 sf, the fan is 52-72" (and you could have more than one)
