Bernard Kimoro - You say that you use ivory to contrast, on which areas of the room is it used or is it only used on the accessories? »
Garrison Hullinger Interior Design Inc. Thanks for all the great comments on this luxurious bedroom. We used Benjamin Moore Bryant Gold HC-7. We use colors from the historical series in many of our projects.
Mahogany's been a prized wood used in furniture since Sir Walter Raleigh presented a mahogany table to Queen Elizabeth I in the late 1500s. It can be milled and carved beautifully and holds a high gloss finish better than any other hardwood used in furniture making.
Mahogany is native to the New World tropics but is now cultivated around the world. Its country of origin plays a large role in its quality, and the finest mahoganies still come from Honduras and Cuba.
For maximum flexibility, choose articulated reading lights that you can adjust to suit your height and your reading position. Go for a style that focuses light in a narrow beam rather than diffusing it over the surrounding space.
Unfortunately, the study doesn't offer any possible reasons. Is the color tricking people into thinking about Milky Way candy bars and chocolate, making them more excited? Or is that just the case in my house?
Most interesting, to me anyway, is that the study found that couples in bedrooms with a caramel decor scheme have sex, on average, three times per week.
