Kenneth Fromme Thanks for your comment. The wood is Honduran mahogany, with the panels where the pulls are being done in a crotch mahogany cut of veneer. The color of the stain being a light brown. Hope this helps.
What a gorgeous kitchen! Can you please tell me what material is the countertop? If it's marble, how is it holding up under normal use? Any etching from random acid-based splatters and drips?
Thanks you in advance for your reply. »
Rebekah Zaveloff That does look like a white marble like Calacatta, and my experience is that it does etch and a stain. I have it but I love it despite the flaws and patina that happens with age and wear.
I love this hidden refrigerator because while it's well hidden, it's still in plain sight, which makes for a playful design element. This built-in creates the armoire look so well with its faux drawer fronts below. The fact that its high gloss dark wood finish matches the kitchen island — but none of the other white cabinets — makes for a jaw-dropping space.
Who ever thought an armoire belonged in the kitchen? When it’s actually the refrigerator, it sure does. When your fridge is this beautifully designed, you’d be proud to call it the focal point.
Would love free standing fridge that looks like an armoire . This one is a bit much. Saw one in a house in Dallas I was on love with. Might try to ask if I could take a pic of it.
