This is such an elegant practical kitchen. I greatly admire the mantel and am fascinated by the wall cabinets. - This is such an elegant practical kitchen. I greatly admire the mantel and am fascinated by the wall cabinets. Are they glazed with mirrors or is it simply the angle/reflections that conceal the contents and offer glimpses of the rest of the space? »
jenniferruth Mirrors, I think. If you look at the closeups of the bar cabinet in this same kitchen, you'll see that one of them is reflecting the image of the photographer's arm!

Trim around stovetop, mirrored divided-light cabinet fronts. Really nice tile backsplash is limited to just behind stove. Wood paneling behind other countertops.
MIRRORED cabinet doors! Nice space expander and way to bounce light around the room. Nicely pairs with stainless sink drainboards and nickle drawer-pulls

Love the mirrors in the cabinets and the backslpash.
Instead of doing glass doors, consider mirrored doors. These work awesomely well to open up space since all mirrors do is bounce light, rather than using glass and showing a dark cabinet that has to have lights on to be appreciated
